SV H.O.M.E.S

2004 Voyage 440

What’s in a name?

So where does the name come from? Well, Michigan holds a strong place in our hearts in all that it has to offer.

Experience has taught us that upon title transfer a vessel name must be chosen. We wrestled with many different options but what we ended up with couldn’t be simpler.

HOMES is an acronym for our beloved Great Lakes which our home (wink) state of Michigan is famous for. Lake Huron, Ontario, Michigan, Erie, and Superior gave us our beginning in sailing and now we can take our “HOMES” with us!

About SV H.O.M.E.S

SV HOMES is a 2004 Voyage 440. She is an owners version, never chartered with a “Jack and Jill” shared head. We are the 3rd owners with the previous names being Wind Pony and Gizmo. SV HOMES is an “off the grid” boat with everything running off of battery/solar. She is truly a well-kept world cruiser which has been maintained to the highest standard. We took ownership in Puerto Rico, on Feb 3rd after a few delays.
